Henry Brooke regains consciousness after being put in induced coma following horror fall at Hexham



Jockey Henry Brooke regained consciousness in hospital as he made positive progress from serious injuries when falling at Hexham on Saturday.
Brooke had to be airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary after being placed in an induced coma following his fall.
But a statement issued by the Injured Jockeys Fund said: 'There is positive news from the hospital this afternoon (Sunday). Henry has regained consciousness and his doctors are pleased with his progress to date.’
