'Help celebrate my Hull City mad grandad's life with minutes applause at KCOM'



The family of a lifelong Hull City fan and "extraordinary man" have asked for his life to be saluted with a minute's applause at Saturday's home game against Bristol City.
David Cressey survived the overturning of the Arctic Viking ship, when it sank off Flamborough Head in 1961, and served in all three divisions of the Armed Forces before his retirement.
A father of four and grandfather of 11, David died last Monday after a battle with illness, aged 81.
