Hearts get green light for redevelopment of Tynecastle which will boost capacity beyond 20,000
 

HEARTS have been given the green light to begin work on their new main stand which will boost the Tynecastle capacity beyond 20,000.
Edinburgh City Council today approved plans for the £12m project which will see demolition work begin next month, removing sections of the existing stand, ticket offices and shops.
And, by following a plan similar to the one Liverpool used in the stunning reconstruction of Anfield this summer, Hearts hope there will be no need to close the stand during the season.
