Hospital teacher by day, rock singer by night – Donna Mitchell tells LIBBY WILKINSON how losing weight reignited her passion for singing
Having been prescribed steroids for a serious health issue, mum-of-two Donna Mitchell saw her weight rocket. A diagnosis of ulcerative colitis and later whopping cough and pneumonia led to the 48-year-old, from Newcastle, needing two long-term bouts of steroids to solve an underlying adrenal gland problem.
