‘He was my baby’: Britain’s oldest dog dies after being savaged by out-of-control terrier

A Yorkshire Terrier which was 25 years old, and thought to be Britain’s oldest was savagely mauled to death by a Patterdale and Lakeland Terrier cross.
Jack died of his wounds before he could get to the vet.
Jack’s owner, Ray Bunn, 70 – who credited Jack’s long life to his diet of sirloin steak – said, ‘We’ve had Jack for a long time, he was part of the family.
‘I feel like I have lost a son. He was our baby.
Craig Doughty, 44, was ordered to pay £100 in compensation after he admitted losing control of the dog.
