'He hated what he had become' - family's heartbreak at tragic life of 'loving' Hull man



The family of a “loving” Hull man who died of a drug overdose has described how he would “make people howl with laughter”.
Victor Ellis, 37, was found dead at his home in Wentworth Way, Hull, after family members became concerned for his welfare and called police.
A post mortem report revealed carfentanyl – a lethal drug responsible for the deaths of dozens of people in Hull last year – was present in his body.
His brother, Alex, described Mr Ellis as “a really genuinely loving, altruistic individual” who would be “missed by a lot of people.”
