Hatton Garden ringleaders told to pay £27.5 million or serve another seven years in prison
 

Elderly ringleaders of the Hatton Garden jewellery raid have been ordered to pay back £27.5m or face a total of 28 years in jail.
They drilled into a vault and broke into the safe deposit boxes over Easter 2015, making off with millions of pounds worth of cash, jewellery and gold.
Estimates of the amount stolen have ranged wildly from £15m to £35m.
Following a year long financial investigation, defence lawyers agreed that the gang made off with a minimum of £13,690,331.
