Hargreaves Lansdown launches its first pure stock market fund - and it claims it will be cheaper to invest in than 90% of rivals



DIY investing platform Hargreaves Lansdown has moved into equity management with the launch of a low-cost fund invested in the UK stock market.
The HL Select UK Shares fund will be the first in a range of equity funds, and build on the firm's existing £7billion multi-manager capability.
With an ongoing charge figure of 0.6 per cent, the fund is cheaper to invest in than 90 per cent of the active funds in the IA All Companies Sector, according to the platform. However, it will also be subject to a 0.45 per cent Vantage platform fee.
