Hanley Beaverbrooks robbery suspect to be deported



ONE of the men arrested over the Beaverbrooks robbery at Stoke-on-Trent's main shopping centre is to be deported.
The 26-year-old was quizzed after being arrested over the smash-and-grab raid at the jewellery store within Hanley's intu Potteries shopping centre last March.
But he has now been transferred to the immigration service ahead of being kicked out of the UK.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: "The man will be issued with a deportation notice."
