Hamilton Rugby Club are in sight of National League 2 summit
 

Hamilton ended Dumfries Saints’ five-game unbeaten run and moved up to second place, a point behind new leaders Kirkcaldy.
However, their hard-fought 29-20 win came at a cost, with several high-profile Hamilton players added to an already lengthy injury list, in what was an attritional game.
Both sides played with great intensity in defence and it took until the 20th minute for the deadlock to be broken by Dumfries when a clever crossfield kick was gathered and fed to the centre, who crossed in the corner.
Hamilton responded immediately, making quick inroads into the Dumfries 22.
