Hall Farm couple to take over The Swallow



ONE of the Grimsby-area's most popular rural retreats is in new hands.
Matt and Angela Durrant, the husband and wife team behind Ashby-cum-Fenby's Hall Farm Hotel and Restaurant and North Thoresby's Halfway House, have swooped for The Swallow.
And they want to bring back the halcyon days and long summer nights in the rural idyll, which sits alongside the A46 route to and from the town.
They will be tenants of The Brocklesby Estate, and have identified a manager and chef to take it forward.
It follows the sudden closure of the popular pub in August.
