Hail and heavy rain batters Nottingham



Heavy rain and even hailstones battered Nottingham on Saturday afternoon as an unexpected storm hit the county.
The Met Office had predicted heavy rainfall for the East Midlands, but no weather warning was put in place for Nottinghamshire, only neighbouring Leicestershire.
However, the downpour, which started at around 3pm, led to Notts County's game against Morcambe being postponed after around 10 minutes due to the adverse weather.
