Gwynedd leisure centre will get thousands from council to alleviate funding crisis
 

A community-run leisure centre facing a funding crisis will get thousands from the county council to help with its running costs.
A one-off payment of £20,000 and an annual contribution of £6,000 will be made to the centre in Harlech, following approval by Gwynedd council’s cabinet today.
But owners Harlech and Ardudwy Leisure (HAL) say they also need to get £50,000 a year through fundraising, and hope that six local community councils will come up with £56,000 a year.
