Gunmen hold up Lloyds Bank branch in Weoley Castle

Armed raiders held-up at a Birmingham bank at gunpoint.
Two men brandishing a weapon burst into the Lloyds branch in Castle Square, Weoley Castle, just after 9.30am on Tuesday.
They demanded staff opened a door leading to the tills but fled empty-handed in a van which went the wrong way around Weoley island when they could not get in.
Staff were left shaken but unhurt.
West Midlands Police officers were examining CCTV in an effort to identify the raiders.
One of the men was described as black, around 5ft 8ins tall, slim and slight, with a dark hat and a Birmingham accent.
