GUILTY: Girl, 15, convicted of two brutal murders in Spalding



A 15-year-old girl has been convicted of two counts of murder.
The girl has been on trial at Nottingham Crown Court charged with the murders of school dinner lady Elizabeth Edwards and 13-year-old daughter Katie.
A boy, 15, had already admitted both murders.
The jury gave unanimous verdicts.

Mr Justice Haddon-Cave told the jury it was an exceptional case.
He said: "This has been a difficult and important case. I know you applied yourself to this task with great care."
