Former Coventry City defender Hermann Hreidarsson has added another relegation to his CV after moving into football management.
The 42-year-old is the joint record holder for relegations from the Premier League as a player, a dubious honour he shares with Welsh striker Nathan Blake after being demoted from England’s top flight five times.
The former Iceland international suffered the dreaded drop with every Premiership club he played for: Crystal Palace in 1997–98, Wimbledon in 1999–2000, Ipswich Town in 2001–02, Charlton Athletic in 2006–07 and finally at Portsmouth in the 2009–10 season.... read more
