'Guardian angel' who rescued mum from Branshome underpass attack relives 'terrifying' ordeal



A woman has come forward as the "guardian angel" who helped save a mother's life after she was dragged off the street and into a Bransholme underpass in a terrifying attack.
Lucy Watson, 34, was walking on Midmere Avenue when she saw a man violently bundling the woman into the underpass, close to Winifred Holtby School, before grabbing her round the throat.
After hearing him shout "you're going to die" at the woman, Miss Watson sprinted after them and was able to scare him away.
