Group of priests asked to leave pub as staff thought they were a stag do

Pub bosses have apologised after asking a group of priests to leave - because they thought they were a stag do.
The error sparked 'mass' hysteria among the group who thought the landlord was joking when he told them it was policy not to grant entry to fancy dress parties or stag ‘dos’.
The group were celebrating in fact celebrating after father Peter McClaren was ordained.
