Grimsby lorry driver airlifted to hospital after crash on A16



A lorry driver from Grimsby is being treated in hospital after suffering multiple injuries in a crash on the A16.
The man in his 40s was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, where he has undergone surgery.
The Grimsby driver was one of two men who suffered serious injuries in the crash between a lorry and a van on the A16 at Sibsey, just north of Boston.
It happened at 12.15pm yesterday.
Two air ambulances descended on the scene after the lorry and a van were involved in the crash on the road to Stickney.
