Greek pensioners tear-gassed as they riot in the street protesting anti-austerity measures
 

Some 2,000 elderly men and women took to the streets in the country’s capital, Athens, in anger over changes to their pensions. 
The OAPs rocked a police bus en-route to Maximus Megaron, the official residence of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, on Monday morning. 
The army of pensioners were up in arms over cutbacks to benefits and their pensions, and were incredibly tear-gassed by riot police trying to control the crowd. 
Photos from the scene show pensioners clutching handkerchiefs to their mouths as tear gas explodes.
