Grandmother of violent Barrow teen asks for restraining order to be cancelled



Jack Daniel Frederick Beale, 19, pleaded guilty to assault by beating at Furness Magistrates' Court in August after he threw a trainer at his grandmother and then trapped her in the toilet with a chair at her Ulverston home on July 3.
Beale also threatened that he would make her "eat a chair" and told her that he had scissors. He was sentenced to eight weeks in custody as well as a 12-month exclusion order and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
