Grand Central Hall plagued by strange plants growing from roof
 

An iconic city centre building is being plagued by strange plants growing out of its roof.
Shoppers at Grand Central Hall, which plays home to some of the independent shops from the former Quiggins site, contacted the ECHO after noticing the strange foliage.
Originally only visible from neighbouring buildings, the plants, which appear to be growing from inside the Central Hall’s domed roof, can now be seen from street level - sparking concern from passersby.
