'Grammar schools? Only if you want them', Education Secretary Justine Greening tells North East
 

The region won’t be forced to accept a roll-out of grammar schools if the idea proves unpopular here, Education Secretary Justine Greening insisted.
Addressing around 450 school leaders at the SCHOOLS NorthEast conference, Ms Greening spoke about how schools could help each other to improve and the importance of offering a high-quality education in technical, as well as academic subjects.
