Graeme Souness slams Manchester United after Newcastle loss and says Liverpool may beat them to second: ‘They’ve got big names on paper...but that doesn’t make you a good team'

Graeme Souness has criticised Manchester United's performance in their loss at Newcastle on Sunday and claimed Liverpool will now fancy pipping their rivals to second place in the Premier League table.
The Red Devils fell to a 1-0 defeat at St James' Park before Liverpool moved to within two points of their rivals by brushing aside Southampton 2-0 at St Mary's just hours later.
Working as a pundit for Sky Sports, Souness insisted Jose Mourinho has got players of exceptional individual ability but must get them to function as a unit after a lacklustre display.
