Government worsens row over Heathrow



Tories poised to make decision on controversial third runway
THE government is heading for disarray as it prepares to announce its decision over whether or not to expand London’s Heathrow airport.
Many trade unionists form the Yes camp with some Conservative MPs, while Tory opponents of the project are lined up with environmentalists, conservationists and Green Party activists.
A decision is said to be “imminent.”
