Government vows to fight VW Group to compensate UK car owners affected by dieselgate scandal



The Government has pulled no punches in a new report slamming the VW Group for the dieselgate emissions scandal, promising UK owners it will fight for them to receive compensation.
The Transport Committee's scathing report dubbed Volkswagen's actions as 'unacceptable' and roasted the manufacturer for showing 'a cynical disregard for emissions limits which exist to protect human health from dangerous pollutants'.
