Gordon Strachan dodges Allardyce scandal to focus on Scotland's World Cup prospects
 

GORDON STRACHAN avoided stepping into the Sam Allardyce scandal yesterday as he focused on bagging two more wins ahead of Scotland’s World Cup trip to Wembley.
Strachan was at Hampden yesterday to name a 28 man squad for next month’s double header with Lithuiania and Slovakia while, down south, Group F favourites England were reeling from the FA’s decision to sack Allardyce after just one game in charge.
