“MEGA” was how Gordon Shedden described winning the BTCC crown for the second year in a row.
The victory makes him the first Scot to win the British Touring Car Championship three times.
Just hours after his arrival back in Scotland, he was still savouring the triumph of lifting the trophy in the final race of the season – and coming from behind to do it.
It was a stunning display from Flash, who was sitting two points adrift of leader Sam Tordoff and sitting behind him on the grid at the Brands Hatch GP circuit in Kent as the cars lined up for Race 30 – the decider.
