Gordon Anglesea describes prosecution claims as 'absolute rubbish' at child sex trial
 

Retired police superintendent Gordon Anglesea told officers from the National Crime Agency that he had never associated with known paedophiles.
The jury in the 79-year-old’s trial at Mold Crown Court today heard further details of his interviews with police, which were read by junior prosecuting barrister Catherine Donnelly and National Crime Agency officer Calvin Martin.
In his third interview in 2013, he said that he had only spoken to former children’s home owner John Allen once at a public meeting when he wanted to take over a home.
