Gordon Anglesea accused of lying on oath over evidence in libel case
 

Former North Wales chief inspector Gordon Anglesea has been accused of lying on oath at his trial for alleged abuse of young boys.
Anglesea was accused by prosecuting barrister Eleanor Laws QC of saying two vastly different things about the number of times he visited the showers at the former attendance centre at Wrexham , which he ran in the 1980s when he was a police inspector.
Anglesea, 79, of Gwynant, Old Colwyn , denies two charges of sexually abusing boys in the 1980s.
Witnesses have alleged that he would stand watching them shower.
