Good Samaritan assaulted while helping woman who was being robbed
 

Police are trying to trace a Good Samaritan who was assaulted while trying to help a young woman who was being robbed.
Two men approached a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman in Bath Street in Ilkeston between 1am and 1.30am on Sunday, and demanded money from them.

The pair walked away to Granby Street but were followed by the robbers. The 19-year-old man ran off, leaving the woman behind.
