Glaswegian woman wakes up thinking she is an Australian Olympic athlete after her memories are wiped out by rare brain disease

A woman lost five years of memories and 'woke up' believing she was an Olympic athlete after being struck down with a rare illness.
Nicola Money was diagnosed with the auto immune disorder, Susac syndrome, when she was 22.
She couldn’t eat, walk, talk and was unable to remember anything from the previous five years.
Doctors initially thought she had multiple sclerosis or meningitis before they diagnosed the rare condition, which is thought to only affect three people in the UK.
When she recovered consciousness, she was convinced she was Australian and taking part in the Olympics.
