Girls younger than 11 given counselling for body image issues



An increasing number of children, some younger than 11, are having counselling for worries about how they look.
Startling figures released by Childline in Liverpool reveal that staff carried out almost 100 sessions with girls - in comparison to just 16 with boys.
In the sessions young people - aged under 11 to 18 - disclosed worries about their weight, problems with acne and general issues with their body image.
