Girl, 10, suffers head injury in Butt Lane collision



A 10-YEAR-OLD girl was hit by a car as she walked to school.
The St Saviour's Primary School pupil suffered a head injury in the accident on Congleton Road, Butt Lane, close to the Healing Well pub, shortly before 8.37am today.
She was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment.
The accident comes as St Saviour's is set to lose its crossing patrol next month as part of council cuts - and parents fear that could lead to more accidents along the busy road.
