Giant pumpkin, weighing the same as four baby elephants, cut up and fed to vulnerable people
 

A giant pumpkin, which weighs the same as 'four baby elephants', has been cut up to feed people at a community centre in Lenton.
The winter squash, which weighs a whopping 57 stone, was transported to Nottingham via horsebox by husband and wife duo Ray and Sarah Armstrong, who started growing giant pumpkins four years ago after moving to South Clifton, near Newark.
Mr Armstrong, 50, said: "To start with, good seed selection and soil preparation are important. Once the plant is growing it is important to prune it appropriately, water and fertilise regularly.
