Giant Ferris wheel returns to Leicester's Golden Mile for Diwali



A huge Ferris wheel is to be erected in Leicester this week for the city's Diwali celebrations.
The 110-foot high ride will be assembled in the Golden Mile in Belgrave after making a successful debut last year.
Workmen were due to start putting it up today (Tuesday) ready to start spinning on Friday.
It will be open until Sunday November 6, as a the centrepiece of the two-week programme of Diwali events taking place in the city.
It will operate from midday to 8pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and midday to 10pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
