'Get off him' - man accused of murdering toddler 'restricted' nurse from picking him up



A nurse angrily told a man accused of murdering a toddler to ”get off him” after he prevented her from picking up the boy’s body, a court heard.
Leanne Monaghan, a senior sister at Arrowe Park Hospital’s A&E department, described Craig Smith being “heavy-handed” with the body of Teddy Tilston, two, after he was declared dead.
Teddy’s lifeless body was found at his family home in Woodville Road, Birkenhead, on March 1 after his mum’s boyfriend, 28-year-old Smith, called 999 claiming the youngster had drowned in the bath.
