German police in raids against DWR Islamist group

German police have carried out dawn raids on mosques, apartments and offices in 10 states in search of suspected Islamists.
The raids came as the government banned a group it accused of trying to recruit fighters for so-called Islamic State.

She said Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere believed the group breached the constitution and incited hatred.
He is due to make a statement on the arrests and the ban later.
There was no immediate statement from the group.
