George Groves urges boxing's authorities to ban dopers for life on same day Britain’s Muhammad Ali was found guilty of taking drugs

George Groves has made an impassioned plea for the protection of clean boxers, on the day that Britain’s Rio Olympian Muhammad Ali was suspended for two years for taking drugs.
Groves, who is deep into training, for his Battle of Britain with Chris Eubank junior in Manchester on Saturday week, made clear his conviction that deliberate steroid abusers should be banned for life.
Saint George said: ‘If people are doing drugs in boxing, it’s disgusting. Anyone who takes performance enhancing substances to improve performance and power should not be allowed to compete ever again.
