Gareth Southgate seeks to 'provide stability' but will wait before deciding on permanent England manager role

Gareth Southgate says he wants to wait before deciding whether he wants the England job on a full-time basis.
Southgate has been placed in interim manager after Sam Allardyce's sudden departure last week.
Football Association chief executive Martin Glenn said last week he viewed Southgate as a realistic candidate for the job. But Southgate wants to wait before making a final decision.
