Gareth Southgate looks to UK's elite swimming, cycling and rugby coaches for advice on England role



Gareth Southgate flew home from his whirlwind 10 days with England and straight into a seminar aimed at improving and critiquing young coaches with the aim of building up the knowledge base of British sport.
The stand-in England manager is participating in a UK Sport's elite programme for world class coaches and Southgate spent time after the 0-0 draw against Slovenia at a course which included the likes of Mel Marshal, coach to Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty and which encourages coaches to share experience and question their methods in the hope that good ideas will cross fertilise... read more
