Gambling addict stole nearly £5,000 from autistic pensioner under his care
 

The manager of a supported living home stole nearly £5,000 from an “extremely vulnerable” autistic pensioner.
Daniel Anderson, 28, betrayed the trust of 74-year-old Harold Furness, who has severe learning difficulties.
Liverpool Crown Court heard Anderson, of Cobham Avenue, Orrell Park, worked for care company Aspirations.
He had responsibility for Mr Furness and three other people living at a large property in Oxton, Birkenhead .
But using the victim’s bank card, the “heartless” swindler made cash withdrawals of £4,752 and pocketed the money.
