Furious row between parents and education chiefs at Durham primary school
 

A furious row has broken out between parents and education chiefs over the leadership of a troubled primary school.
Sacriston Primary School, near Chester-le-Street, had its governing board replaced by an Interim Executive Board (IEB) seven months ago by the Department of Education.
Parents claim they have had no explanation for the move and following the unannounced retirement of popular head Lesley Farnaby have been left seething.
The Friends of Sacriston Primary School campaign is now demanding answers, while education chiefs argue the group is not telling the whole story.
