Furious pupils launch petition demanding that pass mark for latest National 5 maths exam be lowered
 

IRATE pupils have started an online petition demanding that pass mark for this year's National 5 Maths exam be lowered after complaining that it was too difficult and unlike any of the past papers they had swatted up on.
It is the second year in a row that a Maths test has cast a shadow over the SQA exams.
Last May students complained en masse that the first year of the new Higher Maths exam was too difficult.
