Fund-raiser trekking to rooftop of the world - to help those in Liverpool with no roof over their head



An intrepid charity fund-raiser is set to climb to the rooftop of the world - to help people in Liverpool who don’t have a roof over their heads.
Alison Lockett-Burke will trek to the base camp of Mount Everest in a bid to support volunteers offering help to rough sleepers on the city’s streets.
The 37-year-old - who co-founded Liverpool city centre hangouts HUS and the Baltic Social - will climb above 17,000ft in her efforts to help tackle homelessness in Liverpool.
