Fuming young offenders claim sex discrimination after women prisoners allowed to break outdoor smoking ban
 

YOUNG prisoners have been left fuming after women were allowed to break an outdoor smoking ban in their nick.
The inmates at Polmont Young Offenders’ Institution, near Falkirk, are claiming sex discrimination after a new intake of women cons were given the go-ahead to light up.
The young men are banned from smoking in the grounds of the YOI. But 100 women recently relocated from Cornton Vale jail were given outdoor smoking facilities.
