HE may never have finished first at any event in his life – but that isn’t stopping Richard Happer’s quest to become a world champion.
The Edinburgh writer, 45, says you don’t need the speed of Usain Bolt or the endurance skills of Mo Farah to become the best in the world…at something.
He has spent much of the last three years trying his hand at a variety of bizarre events that call themselves “world championships”.
