Friends of a father-of-three have vowed to raise a six figure sum by taking on a challenge he was unable to complete.
Layth Abdulla was on a 40th birthday bike ride with friends to celebrate his 40th birthday when he fell, hitting a lamp post and fracturing his spine before being told by doctors that he will never walk again.
Now, friends and family have tasked themselves with raising £100,000 to help the father-of-three adjust to life with his injury, and now they have organised a coastal challenge to help them on their way.
