A night out to Teesside Park’s casino turned sour after a man was first threatened with a knife, and then beaten and had his BMW stolen.
Mum Maxine Marchant brandished a knife at the victim as he drove her and two men, Scott Greathead and John O’Connor, back home from the Rainbow Casino at Teesside Park.
The two men then punched the man while he was driving shouting “where’s the money?” before demanding he withdraw funds from a cash machine, Teesside Crown Court heard today.
