Friend of tragic Shaun Woodburn tells court how he was attacked when trouble erupted outside pub
 

A friend of tragic Shaun Woodburn told a court yesterday how he was attacked when trouble erupted outside a pub.
Steven Swanson said he suffered a broken nose in the fight outside Gladstones bar in Leith, Edinburgh.
The witness, 32, said he had been at a Hogmanay party in the pub with his cousin, Hibs player Danny Swanson, and Shaun.
Steven told the High Court in Dunfermline that when trouble broke out in the street, he was punched in the face by a black male, who threatened to stab him.
He said he went into the pub and grabbed pool cues to defend himself but did not use them.
